A2 Coursework brief

For our A2 coursework, we have been tasked to create a promotional package for the realise of an album of an unsigned British band/artist. It has to include the following: 

• A 2-4 minute music promo video
• A Cover for its release as part of a Digipak (CD/DVD Package) including 4 panels (minimum) 
• A magazine advertisement promoting the digipak/artist/band (CD/DVD Package) 

This construction part of the coursework is worth 60 marks of the total a level mark.  The written component (research and planning) and the Evaluation question are worth 20 marks each. 

Because I joined City of Norwich School in September, I missed out on the opportunity of creating a group. Therefore, I was left to decide between two groups because the others were full. I decided to join Cody, Katy and Ben because I knew them before I moved sixth forms and they all got good grades in their media coursework at AS level. This is important to me, because I want to work in a group who have similar aspirations to me as to what grade they want to achieve at the end of the year.
